I’m going to climb way out on a limb here

and make a prediction about what the FBI discovers when they dig into the matter of the Abedin email “trove” discovered on Anthony Weiner’s laptop. Huma is reportedly mystified about how thousands of HER emails ended up on HIS laptop. This is pure speculation but on one side we’ve got a guy, Weiner, with a compulsive need to play with fire. He even chose the nom-de-sext, Carlos Danger, for his online avatar. He comes off as extremely self-centered but also incredibly needy and, I’m guessing, JEALOUS of his wife’s deep and close attachment to her boss, Hillary Clinton. Think of all the stories and photos of Huma at Hillary’s side 24/7. Now think about who ISN’T by Huma’s side.

I think that Weiner/Carlos Danger was so jealous of that relationship and of Huma’s lack (in his mind) of devotion to HIM that he somehow hacked or configured her email account to give him access so he could secretly monitor her communications and check up on her at all times. It’s classic jealous spouse behavior. There’s nothing unusual here except for the rarified atmosphere in which it seems to have occurred. And the fact that by their nature many of Huma’s emails would have been highly confidential.

I don’t think this so-called scandal makes a dent in the final outcome of the presidential election. But it does show how vulnerable everyone, no matter how highly placed, can be to the bad actions of a unscrupulous spouse or lover.
