CNN is all riled up with the news that a French satellite has spotted what appears to be a debris field in the Indian Ocean. Great news. But the anchor keeps attempting to say that this is likely to be the plane because it is in the search area. Well, no kidding. Searchers, searching for something, have spotted something in the search area. It’s a tongue twister and totally circular in its logic. As opposed to searchers finding something where they aren’t searching.
