The number one rule of making a celebrity scandal go away is to STOP doing stupid things, at least in public.
But, according to TMZ, Sandra Bullock’s husband Jesse James decided it would be a great idea to perform a “Citizen’s Arrest” on a paparazzo who had been staking out his business ever since his extra-marital activities became the focus of much media interest.
Putting aside, for one second, whether there even IS such a thing as a real Citizens Arrest, what was Mr. James thinking getting into a physical and legal scuffle with someone in the celebrity gossip publication industry? Someone who is taking pictures of you while you do it. You want them to go away, not to swarm around you like bees, which is exactly what they’re going to do now.
